Royal Mocha Highlands

Royal Mocha Highlands is a distinguished single-origin coffee grown in the mountainous landscapes surrounding Sana’a, where coffee cultivation has been part of local tradition for centuries. Produced from one of the world’s oldest arabica varieties, this coffee reflects the deep heritage of Yemen, a region often regarded as one of the earliest homes of cultivated coffee.

Its cup is dense, aromatic, and deeply expressive, offering a rich structure with remarkable depth. Pronounced chocolate notes define the profile, supported by warm spice, roasted nut character, and delicate fruit nuances that emerge gradually through the finish. The aftertaste is long, intense, and layered, leaving behind a refined combination of truffle-like cocoa richness and subtle aromatic spice.

The beans are cultivated on steep mountain terraces at high altitude, where limited rainfall and mineral-rich soils help create concentrated flavor. Slow development in these elevated conditions contributes to the coffee’s heavy body, low acidity, and distinctive aromatic complexity.
